Go Karts - Orihuela Costa (10/15 Minute Walk from Resort)

Go-Karting is the perfect summer fun activity for all the family. The track is open to all ages and there are special baby karts and a separate track for 5 to 10 year olds. Adults can choose from an 11 C.V. kart or a more powerful Honda 400 C.C. model. There are also Go-Karts designed for two people and special competition karts for the more experienced. For 7 to 12 year olds, Quad Bikes are available and they have their own separate track.

The Orihuela Go-Karting track is quite extensive and has a challenging mix of straights and corners, mostly of the hair pin variety for that added thrill. It is very well supervised and should anything untoward happen, the marshals are quickly on the scene to lend a helping hand.

Prices are very reasonable and for adults range from 13 to 19 euros for an eight minute ride. Prices for children (5 to 10 years) and juniors (10 to 15 years) are 6 euros and 8 euros respectively.
Considerably cheaper than the 40 pounds or so you would pay back in the UK

Aquopolis Water Park Alicante - Torrevieja (10/15 Minutes Drive from Resort)

 

The Water Park of Alicante, Aquopolis Torrevieja is located in the center of Torrevieja, in Vega Baja region, at the South of the province of Alicante and is the largest and most important leisure park in Costa Calida and the Southern Alicante.

Mar Menor - Mud Baths at the Beach (1 hour Drive from Resort)

 

The Mar menor is a watersports playground and offers all watersports like scuba diving,sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, kiteboarding, powerboating and  a personal  favorite scuba diving at cabo de palos just 5 minutes from the mar menor.This area of Murcia is unique and is also famous for its mud baths which is good for the skin.

Located just 5 minutes from the south of mar menor is La manga Club which is a 5 star  English resort and has exceptional world class golf courses, tennis academy, football academy and a fantastic and friendly Scuba Diving centre called Adventure Divers

This area of Murcia Is very close to the San javier Airport or Murcia Airport and some low cost airlines like ryan air offer cheap flights here.

If you like to holiday in Spain Murcia and The Mar menor is a must.

Check out the cool diving in the Islas Hormigas marine reserve which is considered one of the best diving in Spain and this area also has some fantastic shipwrecks for the more advanced diver. Adventure Divers also offer all PADI courses for all ages and abilities and childrens courses.
